EYES
Our favorite purple palette has to be from Dior. The 5 Colour Eyeshadow in Night Butterfly ($56), has the most wearable shades and balancing colors for day to night. Featuring a charcoal, light grey, 2 plums and a gorgeous lavender, it takes the guess work out of pulling off this look. If your wanting an even deeper purples, and to make a real statement, we suggest Urban Decay's Ink for Eyes ($22US) in Empire (a deep eggplant purple). These handy, dandy little compacts (complete with a mirror and double ended applicator), make razor thin lines to smoked out haze very easy.
CHEEKS
If you're choosing to do purple on the cheeks, then for the love of all that is descent, pair it with some simple black mascara and tone down everything else OR just go for a natural shade with a hint of purple-much more wearable. That being said, a fav purple blush of ours is Lancome's Color Design Blush ($27US/$30CDN) in Pret a Plum (pinkish purple), a wearable purplish blush that won't wear you.

LIPS
Our fav wearable shade is NARS Fast Ride Lipstick ($24). It is a deceptively sheer shade. Although it looks like a deep purple, once you put it on, it ends of being a mulberry (in between an intense plum and deep violet), It's a nice, lightweight shade for those who want some color but without too much drama. On the other hand if you're wanting drama, then look no further than YSL Rouge Volupte #22 in Exquisite Purple ($34US/$38CDN). A deep plum that's creamy, sexy and will draw attention to any set of lips, be prepared and look good when wearing this shade. Another sexy alternative, is MAC's Lipstick ($14US/$16CDN) in Cyber (intense blackish purple), deep color, great texture.
NAILS
Most of the collections that featured purple eyeshadows and lipstick, had matching nail polish to compliment, but the standouts are Dior's Vernis in Black Plum ($20) (dark plum) and YSL La Laque ($20US/$23CDN) in Sparkling Garnet (sparkling pinkish purple) and Extreme Purple (eggplant purple).
