For getting to your seat...
Light Rolling Carry On Bag
Tumi is known to make the best luggage in the world, and their carry ons are no exception. We use their Adventure Collection Medium Wheeled Duffel ($281.25 available at Nordstroms). Lightweight with lots of pockets to help organize, you won't believe how much you can get into this little case.
Once you're on board...
A Comfortable Pair of Travel Socks
Nothing like putting your feet up and relaxing..but don't forget there are other people around you who may not like the smell of your feet. A good comfy pair of travel socks are always recommended. Try the World's Softest Socks (that is literally the name of them!) ($7.99 available at www.worldssoftest.com). They also manufacture robes, so it's like a cozy robe for your feet!
Effective Eye mask and earplugs
An absolute must for any traveller! Lewis N Clark makes the best eye masks. They are soft, comfortable and block any light, you'll be glad you bought these (2 for $16.99 available at www.lewisnclark.com). Another brand is Sweet Dreams Contoured Eye Masks (it can be bought with earplugs and a travel pouch for $7.95 on amazon.com). Soft and very comfortable, REM sleep will be had!
Quality Noise Canceling Earphones
If you like to rock out to get yourself to sleep, or even if you just want to hear that movie better, get a good pair of these earphones and you'll settle into an oasis of quiet. The best are easily Bose QuietComfort3 ($349.00), they really do work, but they aren't cheap. Both SONY and Panasonic make less expensive noise canceling earphones and earbuds which are both rated highly by their users (ranges in price from 69.95-199.95).

A Good Blanket and Pillow
We love the Lug Nap SacTravel Blanket (28.00 available at lugtravel.com). It's a wonderfully soft blanket in a 2 in 1 pillow and blanket set, with the zip storage pouch acting as an inflatable pillow. If inflatable pillows are your thing and your willing to spend, then go for The comfortPillow by Tempur-Pedic($80.00), soft and plush, you'll be asleep in no time. If this is more than you want to spend, then go for Nap Travel Pillow ($25.00 www.brookstone.com), a nice cozy alternative.
To keep you looking and feeling refreshed...
Eucalyptus oil
Yves Rocher has a Stress Relieving Massage Oil with Eucalyptus that will relax and help loosen those muscles. It is safe to apply to skin, and will help open up your nasal passages ($9.50 www.yvesrocherusa.com). Try putting a little dab underneath your nostrils, to help you breathe.
Eye Drops
Refresh Plus Eye drops ($7.99 available at most drugstores) are non preserved, soothing and are safe to use even on infants, so if your eyes are drying out, put a drop and refresh your eyes.
Moisturizing Mist
I love spraying a bit of Evian Mineral Water Spray ($11.00 for a travel size duo, www.sephora.com), to keep my skin feeling comfortable and moist, especially on those long haul flights
