After going through all the collections, we've come up with our favorites for skin care and makeup in the fall 2008 makeup lines.
1)This season is all about contouring your cheeks, not pronouncing them, so our favorite is Shu Uemura's Luring Powder ($38.00).
We like this product because it's a delicate powder rose color that compliments ALL skin tones, so no matter what your hair, eye or skin color you're good to go! Our other fav was Guerlain's Blush 4 Eclats ($58.00).
This light, silky palette provides a glorious silky veil of color to your cheeks. Best of all, it can be mixed and match to give you any look your want to achieve.
2)For an evening look, we loved Chanel's Facette D'Or Gold Fever ($50.00).
This golden highlighter brings a beautiful sheer, delicate glow to your skin, we got compliments on it all night long, and so will you!
Our other choice was DiorSkin Poudre Shimmer ($42.00).
This coppery diamond skin powder provides the perfect metallic glow to your skin, contouring in just the right amount.
3)For a multipurpose item, our vote went to Givenchy's Beauty Pocket Case in Sweet Dandy ($55.00).
This multipurpose glowing cream like baume, can be used on cheeks, lips, chest, or wherever you may fancy-to give a natural glow.It comes in a beautiful silver pocket case that can clip on to your belt-perfect for the woman on the go.

4)For lips, yes lips(!), they are basically skin, we had a few choices that got our smackers excited.Our favorite for a dramatic evening look was MAC'S Mattene Lipstick in Chock-ful ($14.50)
This isn't your typically brown lipstick ladies, it's a blackened brown, so it gives a rich, deep color to your lips, and really makes them stand out in a crowd.If you're in the mood, craving some loving or just want some attention, try this color!
For a more toned down, natural day look, we liked Rouge Dior's Pink Drama ($27.00).
This is a warm skin tone pink-very natural and will bring out the pink in your lips.For those with darker skin tones, try Lancome's Color Fever Lipstick ($25.00)
in Jaipur Spice (a nude beige), it's perfect for those of us that have a little brown in their skin.
5)For foundation our favorite was Armani's Face Fabric Second Skin Nude Makeup ($45.00).
This virtually invisible makeup has a Micro-fil technology, which gives a lightness and fluidity that can be blended and layered to conceal imperfections, all the while enhancing the natural glow of your skin.
For touchups, we love Urban Decay's 24/7 Concealer Pencil ($16.00)-like their other pencils,
this is a creamy formula that blends easily and will look flawless and natural on your skin. Perfect for hiding those little imperfections that we all have! It contains a microsponge which absorbs oil all day to prevent further breakouts.
