How to apply and remove false eyelashes
Are you looking for a way to jazz up your look, but not sure what to do? Try using false eyelashes!! It's simple (believe it or not), can be used in a variety of ways, and gives a little extra something to your look. For most women, this can seem a bit intimidating, but once you follow these simple tips, you'll be kicking yourself you didn't try them before!
What You'll Need:
-scissor
-false eyelashes
-eyelash glue
-tweezers
-mascara
-eyelash curler
Application:
1)Gently curl your lashes with an Eyelash Curler. The best one out there? Easily it's Shu Uemura's ($17.00).
2)Using a slanted tweezer, gently peel off the False Eyelashes from the package
If you have a band of false eyelashes:
Hold the lashes (gripping with one hand on each side), and give the lashes a curve, this will help to soften them.
Look at the lashes against your own lashline. If the lashes are too wide for your eyes, then trim the outer corners, so it will fit for the length of your own eyes.
It's a good idea to apply some eyeliner along your upper lashline and smudge it, to create a smoky eye look. This will help to hide the eyelash band line, when you put on the false eyelashes.
3)Apply a small dab of lash adhesive on the top of your hand. Again we recommend Shu Uemura's Adhesive ($8.50)
4)If you feel you are capable, you can pick up the lashes with a tweezer, and slide the eyelash base on the adhesive. If you find this difficult to do, (which it can be!), then apply a few drops of the Eyelash Adhesive to the bottom edge (along the band) of the false eyelashes.
Wait 10 seconds for the adhesive to begin to dry.
5)Apply the eyelashes along the upper lashline, working from the outside corner of the eye inwards.

For individual lashes, it's best to apply longer lashes at the outer edges and shorter ones in the middle of the lash line.
For a band of lashes, try and apply them as close to your natural lash line as possible, once you've applied the whole lash, gently press the edges to make sure they are secure.
Voila! They are on and your lashes are looking fab!!
Removal:
Please don't yank, that is the worst thing you can do-it will hurt and will most likely take off your natural lashes in the process always remember to slowly peel them off! If you're not having any luck-which believes me happens alot, then try and use a solvent of some form to help dissolve or loosen the glue. Some suggested solvents:
-try using a Q tip with waterproof makeup remover, baby oil or even olive oil and dab it on your lashline and let it sit for a few minutes
-then slowly and gently, pull starting from the outer edge and moving inwards. If you have individual false lashes, you may want to use a tweezer, so you can get more precision.
Still no luck? Then get a specific solvent that is meant for eyelash glue, we recommend Ardell's LashFree Remover ($2.99) or try their Ardell's Adhesive Solvent ($6.00). Both come with instructions on how to use, so follow the directions and you should be fine.
Make sure that once they are off, that all the glue is off too, so make sure to clean out that area and wipe all the makeup off.
Re-Usage and Storage:
Most false eyelashes can be reused up to 4 times, provided they are cleaned and stored properly.
-After removing them, make sure to soak them in a band of warm, soapy water to remove glue, dust and any makeup.
-If the glue is still stuck and you try soaking them with the solvent and using tweezers to remove the extra glue.
-Clean in between the lashes with a brush (like a soft bristle toothbrush)
-Allow them to dry (air dry), then store them in the original container
